“Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.”
This passage is found amongst the very familiar verses of “how lovely is your dwelling place…” Yet, I really enjoy these specific verses. These verses speak to me about journey. “Blessed are those who have set their heart on pilgrimage (or journey).” “As they pass through the Valley of Baca (which means weeping, so I understand it to be hard times), they make it a place of springs…”
Has it occurred to you that you can change the atmosphere and circumstances around you? The Lord created you to carry out His plan on earth. Which in essence is causing change here on earth. Kind of a frightening thing, yet at the same time incredibly exciting.
I bless you with the knowledge that no matter if you’re going through the Valley of Baca, the Spirit of the Living God is inside of you to change the desert into pools of life.
