Yesterday I took part in a very fun conversation. We were talking about words that you would only hear within Christian circles. These weren’t just the regular salvation, sanctification, redemption words but words you probably haven’t thought of. Such as fellowship.
No where other than Christian functions do they use the word fellowship. On regular invites there isn’t a line saying, “come for some food, fun and fellowship.” That doesn’t exist.
But, can I just say how glad I am that the word fellowship is a predominant word within the Christian life! I love getting together with fellow believers and truly being able to share. With fellow believers we can share worries, fears, joys and good times. And what is greater than to pray for one another and to see victory manifest in each other’s lives?
I might be going out on a limb here, but I don’t believe there is a greater bond between two people than the bond of knowing Jesus Christ as Messiah.
